“Survival is insufficient” is my favorite quote, which comes from Emily St John’s book Station Eleven. As your therapist, I want to help identify and embrace how your strengths make you unique. Then you can not only survive but also fully engage in your life.
As your provider, I strive to meet you where you are. Building a positive therapeutic relationship is essential to making progress in therapy.
The development of a healthy bond is the foundation of a great therapeutic relationship. That's what I'm here for! Changemaking happens when we are able to work together, with your support system, to improve connections and decrease symptoms that interfere with your daily life.
First and foremost, I operate from a flexible, trauma informed perspective. I will meet you where you are, regardless of what your life experiences have been. I utilize several different modalities including Adlerian (play therapy techniques), motivational interviewing, and DBT. My goal is to create a treatment plan that will meet your needs in the most effective way possible. Please reach out if any of this resonates with you.
E is available for in-person and virtual appointments at the 3412 Center Point Road NE office.
