During my time at UIHC, I helped to lead and develop the Behavioral Health Services (BHS): Service Without Territories nursing team. This team was the focus of my doctoral project which evaluated the outcomes of the team, and initiated proactive measures throughout the inpatient units at UIHC to prevent agitation and patient restraint. I am passionate about helping those with mental health needs and prevention of psychiatric emergencies.
