Macy DeMeulenaere, t-LMFT

I’m human, just like you. With that human experience comes messiness, heartache, and struggles. As your therapist, I work to embrace this in order to promote lasting change through direct interventions designed specifically for you. I have a responsive, approachable, and open-minded style that helps to put you at ease and make the therapeutic experience positive, genuine, and above all else, real.

My passion for people and mental health started many years ago through my work with local non-profits and a psychiatric medical institution for children, and now continues through my work at Insight Therapy Group. These opportunities have given me ample experience with adolescents and adults struggling with depression, anxiety, stress, life transitions, relational struggles, work-related issues, suicidal thoughts, self-harm, and low self-esteem, among other issues.

By utilizing techniques and interventions from evidence-based approaches such as solution-focused and cognitive behavioral therapies, I hope to help you view your problems as manageable, and to help you realize the tools for change that are yet to be discovered.
